Mike Coyne
This is a recording made at Mike's place near Como in January of 2018. They were some songs he had been working on for a while. Some were used on the Rainbowsphere album. Some of the and others were newer and not on the album. We recorded it in his living room. If I recall it was 2 mics, one was near to capture his voice and the other was on the stairs to catch the natural reverberations of the room. Mike lived near some train tracks. Every once in a while you can hear noises creep in from the outside. Mike bought a bunch of Tibetan singing bowls from some guy on the street. We recorded them over some of the songs to add some more ambiance.
