Lost Cosmonauts

Most of the Lost Cosmonaut songs were written between 2015 and 2016 many were recorded later than that though. They were songs that didn't really fit the band, but I still wanted to record anyway. Most of the tracks with drums were originally recorded with loops and then live drums overdubbed after the fact. I started to write a concept album about a group of astronauts who go to space and die. I abandoned this idea, but many of the songs live on here.

I also had the idea of making an album and having friends play on it. But this too kinda fell to the wayside. My friends Mike and Kevin did play on several songs. Kevin actually lived in Australia at the time and we collaborated over dropbox for the song Listen. Windy Road lyrics were written by Mike Coyne.

Turn for the Worse was recorded on cassette. I wrote this for an online song challenge, but I never submitted it. For the song I want to move to outer space I actually took a drum track from a Thrillhouse song and wrote a new song over the top of it, can you tell which one?. Rainbowsphere is a nod to Mike Coyne's project at the time.
